Thank you for visiting the Onondaga County Health Department "Schedule a Flu Shot" website. Clinic schedules will be available on October 1st. At that time you will be able to schedule your seasonal flu shot on this website or by calling 435-5752. Seasonal flu shots are $30 for adults, $15 for children. Pneumonia shots will also be available at the clinics for $45. Medicare Part B, Medicaid, cash or check accepted. You will not be turned away if you cannot pay.
Information will follow about novel H1N1 influenza (Swine Flu) vaccinations. Based on CDC guidelines, the target groups recommended to receive the H1N1 vaccine include:
- Pregnant women
- Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
- Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
- All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
- People from 25 through 64 years of age who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
